Featuring. . .Charlie Napier, DJ to the Cars Kentucky's
oldest most experienced car show DJ with 30 years of experience.
I have worked at WRVK, WKXO, and KIXS FM radios. I was a
member of the Renfro Valley Barn Dance from
1971-1987. My first car show was with the Rockcastle Region
Rodders.
Since then I have had the great pleasure of working all over Kentucky
and
parts of Tennessee. My jouney has brought me back home to WRVK in
Renfro Valley. WRVK is broadcasting via the internet so
you too can listen to our classic music.
 I love people and cars. I make
it a point to enjoy my life with you. I was a school
teacher for
26 years, and presently a part time advocate for the Migrant Program in
Rockcastle
County. We have four children; Tammy, Amanda, Chuck,
and
Robert. We have five beautiful grandchildren: Zachary, Logan Daniel,
Madisen
Michelle, Kinsey, and Caden. We live in Brodhead,
Kentucky.

am married to Carolyn Settles of Mt. Vernon. (Sweet, but the Boss).

My hobbies include singing, driving our 1966 Mustang, and doing car shows. The Mustang is now finished. We bought this car back after more than 20 years of not knowing where it had gone. Funny how it all turned out. My youngest son Robert came home one afternoon from Rockcastle County High and said he had found a Mustang. His Principal, Mrs. Ruth Hamilton, had one for sale. He and I decided one afternoon to go up and look at it. As soon as Mrs. Hamilton opened up her garage door, I knew it was our old Mustang. It had a small crease in the center splash panel, and it was still there. She made me a offer and I refued. It went on for a few months. Every time I saw her, I would hold up 3 fingers as my offer. Each time she refused. Much to my surprise one day, she motioned me to her office and gave in to my offer. It is now home to stay. Check it out.
